Welcome to O'Neil Press!
O'Neil Press is a small Canadian Micro Press in Eastern Ontario. In operation since 1991, O'Neil Press publishes a wide variety of print zines on an irregular basis. The zines contain a diverse selection of work. Some are poetry based, some are a combination of poetry and prose, others are simply disorganized thoughts, illustrations etc. Each of our zines is digest-sized, centre stapled, with card covers, in black and white, often with illustrations throughout. Zine content is usually made up of a variety of contributors or on occasion contains the work of just one artist/poet/writer.
O'Neil Press is owned and operated by Canadian multi-media artist/writer/poet Heather O'Neil. It is nestled quietly just outside of the picturesque town of Chesterville in Eastern Ontario. All the zines, chapbooks etc are produced in a crowded corner of the O'Neil's bedroom with a skeleton staff of 2 humans and 7 curious felines.
The winter of 2009 will see a new line of art zines being added to the production line. These OOAK (one of a kind) zines will sport original artwork covers and a variety of artistic works within. Each issue will have a first print run of 20.
